Become an Ambassador!
Student Ambassadors at Symphony San Jose play a pivotal role in representing and promoting the organization to the youth in the South Bay Area. These ambassadors embody the spirit and mission of the Symphony, working diligently to spread awareness about symphony events and concerts and engage their peers to foster a deeper appreciation for classical music.
Responsibilities:

Spread awareness on our SoundCheck Pass
-
Interact with other students in the area to promote the Symphony

Be involved in the distribution of promotional materials in the area

Attend 1-2 meetings per month with the Symphony marketing staff, including in-person meetings if needed
-
Promote and host social media giveaway opportunities
-
Commit 3 hours per week minimum

Must follow deadlines and be a clear communicator

Brainstorm ideas to increase attendance among students in the South Bay Area

Requirements:

17-22 years old
-
Must be enrolled in an educational institution in the South Bay Area

Must be committed to representing Symphony San Jose for one full season of our classical performances
- Attend all California Theatre series Saturday night concerts of our 2024/2025 season thanks to our free SoundCheck Pass

Must understand and be familiar with TikTok and Instagram, as well as creating content for both platforms

Have an interest in music and cultural institutions

Be open to interacting and collaborating with others
